The Difference Between Compromise and Settling
Compromise is healthy; settling is dangerous.
Compromise is healthy; settling is dangerous.

Compromising means accepting that your partner is 5\'9 instead of 6\'0, or that they are an accountant instead of a doctor. These are superficial traits.

Settling means ignoring the fact that they are emotionally abusive, financially reckless, or fundamentally opposed to your desire to have children just because you are afraid of being alone. Never settle on your core values or your emotional safety. Always compromise on the superficial icing.
